人类疾病都有遗传基础,揭示遗传病发病的遗传基础、解析致病基因的功能是阐明疾病发病病理机制、发展疾病预防和治疗手段的关键。视觉科学与医学遗传学科研团队拥有教授1人(刘木根)、正高级高级工程师1人(唐朝晖)、副教授2人(蒋涛、任翔),博士后和博士硕士研究生十几人。课题组承担科技部国家重点研发计划、国家科技支撑计划、973、863,国家自然科学基金项目等课题,在Nature, Blood, Nucleic Acids Res., Autophagy, Hum Mol Genet, J Biol Chem, Cell Death Dis.等学术刊物发表80多篇学术论文。
