今天上午我们为即将要进行的科学研究做了讲解和准备，下午我们前去参观了巴黎。

在科学课上，我们了解了科学方法论这一概念是如何提出的。接着我们便开始着手准备我们对枫丹白露森林池塘里的微生物的研究。我们跟着老师的提示查阅文献、收集资料，从生物学的角度了解枫丹白露森林，为我们将要提出的科学课题做准备。首先，我们需要了解枫丹白露森林，老师将我们需要了解和掌握的内容分成不同的话题，比如枫丹白露森林的天气、植物、动物、微生物等等。然后将这些需要了解的内容作为任务分给各个小组进行文献阅读和研究，通过和队友的讨论及团队之间的交流，把各个小组的内容串联组织起来，形成一篇完整的介绍枫丹白露森林的文章。这种研究方式十分有趣，也很注重团队合作。

午餐时间，我们品尝了墨西哥菜，十分美味。

下午我们搭上开往巴黎的大巴车前去参观巴黎的一些旅游景点，我们最喜欢的景点便是巴黎的标志——埃菲尔铁塔。在蓝天和棉花糖般的云彩下，它看起来十分迷人。许许多多来自不同国家、不同城市的人来到铁塔下欣赏这座塔的宏伟壮丽，我们和铁塔合影，欣赏广场上的音乐表演，玩得很开心。我们注意到一个韩国家庭一手拿着韩国国旗，一手拿着法国国旗一起拍照，十分可爱。另外，我们的一个同学穿着中国传统旗袍，在埃菲尔铁塔下拍了一张非常漂亮的照片，旗袍上有漂亮的中国古代书法装饰，我们想，路过的人一定会被中国文化的魅力所吸引。我们很高兴看到不同的文化在这里相互交融，绽放光彩。参观最著名的旅游景点最特别的一件事就是能观察来自不同国家的人，欣赏不同的文化，并从中得到启发。除此之外，我们还参观了凯旋门和许多其他代表性地标，欣赏了巴黎各种美丽的建筑。

总而言之，这是美好的一天。

Today we had a science course in the morning and a Paris tour in the afternoon.

During the science course, we learned about the history of proposing the concept of scientific method. And then we began to prepare for our research of the microorganisms in the ponds of the Fontainebleau forest. For today, we were working on the bibliography and getting to know about the Fontainebleau forest biologically so that we can raise a good biological hypothesis. We divided the tasks to different working group and each group is responsible for one topic, such as the weather of Fontainebleau forest and the anaerobic bacteria in the ponds. It feels really nice to do some reading and research and then discuss it with teammates and organize our ideas into a good passage.

After the work, we had Mexican food for lunch, which tastes great. Then we hurried to get on the bus heading for Paris.

We visited some of the tourist spots in Paris, my favorite is La Tour Eiffel (the Eiffel Tower). It looks amazing under the blue sky and marshmallow-like clouds. It’s really nice to see that so many people from so many different places are appreciating the beauty of this tower and having fun. I saw a Japanese family taking photos while holding the Japanese flag in one hand and the French flag in the other, which is really cute. Also, one of our classmates are taking really gorgeous photo under the Eiffel tower wearing traditional Chinese cheongsam with beautiful ancient Chinese calligraphy decoration on it. I think people passing by would really be appealed by this charm of Chinese culture. It’s so nice to see that different cultures are bounding and intersecting with each other at this site. And one best thing about visiting the most famous tourist spots for me is to observe different people representative of different cultures and get inspired by it. We also visited L'Arc de Triomphe and many other landmarks and enjoyed the beautiful architectures in Paris.

All in all, it’s a lovely day.
