新生暑期夏令营日志
Day7：8月28日

我们在太阳的笼罩下起床了。开始了全新的一天。今天的空气特别新鲜，一看就是有好运。我们去了食堂，吃了鸡蛋，包子，银耳汤，还有牛奶。我们骑上自行车，然后慢悠慢悠地骑到东九。过了一会，我们开始上课，发现外教竟然带了辣椒，还是经过研磨然后配制成溶液放入滴瓶。外教请了五个同学，然后将辣椒用滴管一点一点地倒入同学们的嘴里。紧接着，我看到有位同学开始流眼泪，啊，我看着都觉得可怕。时间一分一秒地过去了，又有一个同学辣得直喝冰水，因为鬼椒太烫了，太辣了。然而，竟然有同学一直不喊辣，并且还要加辣椒，我太佩服他了！
28号是英语强化夏令营的最后一天。下午两点，我们中外的七十余名同学来到了东九的大教室。伴随着精心剪辑的回忆小视频，闭营仪式缓缓拉开帷幕。在外教老师富有激情的演讲中，我们真切地感受到了这七天来自己点滴的进步。紧接着是全专业十个小组的展示环节。我们小组位置靠前，看着一个个同学自信又大方的演讲，我在背稿之余油然而生一种发自内心的自豪感。而当轮到我时，鼓起勇气看着台下的老师和同学们，紧握着手中的话筒，练习过无数次的英语句子就这样自然地在喉间淌落。我想，成长可能就是这样。无声无息地，它就绽放在向前冲的某一个步子里。且歌且行，如此长大
今天上课外教老师先是进行了一个活动来测试不同同学对辣椒的忍受程度，有的同学开始流鼻涕和眼泪，有的同学不停喝水，但也有同学觉得不辣，还要再加一点辣椒。然后就是进行下午演讲的训练。外教老师说他的学生每次都是第一，可以拿到那个最佳小组的奖，我们也不会给他丢脸。下午演讲的时候我很紧张，很怕拖小组的后腿，但好在最后无功无过的结束了。总的来说没有让外教老师失望，我们班的小组拿到了奖。
We got up under the sun. Start your day all the new. Today's air is particularly fresh, and it is good luck to see it. We went to the cafeteria and ate eggs, buns, white fungus soup, and milk. We got on our bikes and rode slowly to Dongjiu. After a while, we started the class and found that the foreign teacher had brought peppers, or they were ground and formulated into a solution and put into a drop bottle. The foreign teacher invited five classmates, and then poured the peppers into the mouths of the classmates little by little with a dropper. Immediately after, I saw a classmate start to shed tears, ah, I look at it and feel terrible. Time passed by minute by minute, and another classmate was so hot that he drank ice water, because the ghost pepper was too hot, too spicy. However, there are students who have not shouted spicy, and also want to add pepper, I admire him so much!
The 28th is the last day of intensive English camp. At two o'clock in the afternoon, more than seventy of our Chinese and foreign students came to the large classroom in Dongjiu. Accompanied by a carefully edited small video of memories, the closing ceremony slowly began. In the passionate speech of the foreign teacher, we really felt the progress we have made in the past seven days. This was followed by a presentation of ten groups of all disciplines. Our group was at the front, watching the confident and generous speeches of our classmates one by one, and I suddenly felt a sense of pride from the heart after memorizing the manuscript. And when it was my turn, I plucked up the courage to look at the teachers and classmates in the audience, clutching the microphone in my hand, and the English sentences that I had practiced countless times naturally flowed in my throat. I think that's probably what growth is. Silently, it bloomed in a certain step forward. And sing and walk, so grown up
Today' extracurricular teacher first carried out an activity to test the tolerance of different students for peppers, some students began to have runny nose and tears, some students kept drinking water, but some students felt that it was not spicy, and they had to add a little pepper. Then there's the afternoon speech training. The foreign teacher said that his students were the first every time and could get the award for the best group, and we would not embarrass him. In the afternoon, I was nervous and afraid to drag the group's hind legs, but fortunately it ended in the end. In general, the foreign teacher teachers did not disappoint, and the group in our class won the award.

2022年8月28日，是生物科学（中外合作办学）夏令营的最后一天。Albert一如既往早早来到了教室，时刻准备开启一天我们的课堂，而2班的同学们也主动向学，在上课前就已全部就位。
上午第一节课，Albert介绍了有关城市规模、地域与特征的词汇，并列举了悉尼、伦敦、雅典等城市，请同学们分享对这些城市的认识或想象。很多同学积极发言，他们具体点名了这些城市的著名地标，描述了自己想象中的这些充满生机的，吸引很多游客驻足游览的大城市，课堂气氛热烈。
第二节课，同学们为下午的集体展示做最后准备，进行了第三次课堂内的展示排练。在上一天的课堂中，每一个小组都为超时苦恼万分，然而，经过一天反复地修改与完善，每个小组都成功地从自己原先冗长的展示内容中挑选出了精华部分。此外，很多同学的进步也给我们所有人带来了惊喜。他们从原先必须手持稿子一个词一个词地朗读，到渐渐地脱离手稿，能够以叙述的口吻与观众分享自己的看法。
下午两点，生科中外合作三个班的同学们都聚集在了东九教学楼C303教室，准时迎来了此次夏令营的闭营仪式。首先，由一班的外教Michael发言，分享了他在夏令营中的感受与收获。
接下来，准备了几日的同学们依次上台，展示他们的主题研究。同学们的内容来自书本，又超越书本。他们不仅仅将书本中的内容精简并有条理地叙述，还用生动的情景剧、简明的数学图形、实地取景的照片等多种有趣的方式拓展了许多更有意义的内容，让人眼前一亮，让人印象深刻。展示期间，台下就坐的同学们也仔细聆听同伴的展示。当有同伴登台展示时，同学们以掌声欢迎他们、期待他们；当有同伴异常紧张时，同学们以掌声鼓励他们、支持他们；当有同伴出色地完成展示时，同学们以掌声祝贺他们、学习他们。同学们相互包容、相互支持，紧紧团结在一起。每展示完成一组，各自班级的外教也对他们做出了简单的点评，期望他们再成长。而当所有组展示完成后，刘教授与占教授分别做了简短的演讲，表达了对同学们精彩展示的赞许，并期待生物科学（中外合作办学）新生们在华中科技大学大放光彩。
最后，每个班的同学都与自己的外教拍了合影。我们班的许多同学还拉住了Albert，迫不及待地举起手机想要单独记录下与他的美好时光。七天的夏令营虽然很短暂，但我们收获的知识与历练丰富精彩，我们与Albert的友谊深厚永远。
August 28, 2022 is the last day of the Biological Science summer camp. Albert came to the classroom early as always, and was always ready to open our class for the day. The students of class 2 also took the initiative to learn and were all in place before class.
In the first class in the morning, Albert introduced the vocabulary of city scale, region and characteristics, and listed Sydney, London, Athens and other cities.Then he asked students to share their understanding or imagination of these cities. Many students spoke actively. They specifically named the famous landmarks of these cities and described their imaginative big cities that are full of vitality and attract many tourists. The classroom atmosphere was warm.
In the second class, the students made the final preparations for the collective presentation in the afternoon and conducted the third presentation rehearsal in class. In the last day's class, each group was extremely distressed for overtime. However, after a day of repeated modification and improvement, each group successfully selected the essence from its original lengthy presentation. In addition, the progress of many students has also brought surprises to all of us. From having to read word by word with the manuscript in hand, they gradually separated from the manuscript and were able to share their views with the audience in a narrative manner.
At two o'clock in the afternoon, the students of the three classes gathered in room C303 of the ninth teaching building on the east and ushered in the closing ceremony of the summer camp on time. First of all, Michael, a foreign teacher of class 1, spoke and shared his feelings and achievements in the summer camp.
Next, the students who have been preparing for several days come to the stage one by one to show their theme research. The content of the students comes from books and goes beyond books. They not only simplified and described the contents of the book in a clear and orderly way, but also expanded many more meaningful contents by using a variety of interesting ways such as vivid sitcoms, concise mathematical graphics, and on-the-spot photos, which made people bright and impressive. During the exhibition, the students sitting under the stage also listened carefully to their peers. When there are companions on the stage, the students welcome them with applause and look forward to them; When a peer is extremely nervous, the students applaud to encourage and support them; When some of the students completed the presentation excellently, the students congratulated them with applause and learned from them. The students are tolerant and supportive of each other and closely united. After each group is displayed, the foreign teachers of their respective classes also give simple comments on them, expecting them to grow up again. After all the group presentations were completed, Professor Liu and Professor Zhan made brief speeches respectively, expressing their praise for the wonderful presentations of the students and expecting the freshmen to shine brilliantly in HUST.
Finally, the students of each class took a group photo with their foreign teachers. Many students in our class also pulled up Albert and couldn't wait to hold up their mobile phones to record the good time with him alone. Although the seven-day summer camp is very short, the knowledge and experience we have gained are rich and wonderful. Our friendship with Albert is profound and forever.

夏令营来到了最后一天，我们也迎来了检验学习成果的结营展示。相信所有的同学通过这一周充实地学习，在英语这一科目上都取得了很大的进步。通过预习、外教热情洋溢的教学与课后练习，我们积累了很多专业词汇，规范了读音，更是收获了关于宇宙、经济膨胀等主题知识。
在课程开始之前，每个小组进行了组内分工，每名同学都提前写好了稿子并找老师进行了修改与调整。
在上午的课程中，我们以小组为单位，进行了结营展的彩排。所有小组都提前制作了PowerPoint；同学们也都提前熟读或背诵了稿子。我们通过两次计时合练，确保同学间的连接通顺。在每次彩排后，外教都会一对一的给每个人进行指导——纠正发音、断句，提醒拿麦的距离要适当；告诉我们要尽量多的和观众进行互动，并加入一些手势。
下午结营展示正式开始，我们将把所学的知识运用到演讲上。同学们带着紧张和激动的心情，聆听外教的发言，其他组的展示；分享自己准备的展示内容。两个小时的时间匆匆而过，我们每个人都通过展讲回顾了这一周所学的知识与所得的收获。在展示活动后我们又聆听了老师们的演讲，并拍了大合照。这样为一周丰富的生活画上了圆满的句号。
学习生活感悟：今天是夏令营的最后一天，经多一周的学习，我们从最初的担忧与害羞，到结营展示时的侃侃而谈：从刚见面时的陌生与尴尬到在准备展示过程中的团结合作。
一周的时间中，我们从讲座中学习大学的生涯规划，感受到生命科学的魅力与神奇；我们从课堂中收获英语知识，领略了语言的有趣与迷人；我们在篮球场上上演师生对抗，体会了运动的真谛；我们在小农园中栽培植物，享受了劳动的快乐……
在夏令营中，我们收获了与Sachini之间真挚的友谊，她在英文上不遗余力地帮助我们，不断给予我们鼓励。在准备结营展示的过程中，她一次次给予我们真诚又专业的鼓励，纠正我们细微的发音，亲自示范正确的读法，甚至在动作和神态上也向我们提供帮助。Sachini 对待工作认真负责的态度深深地感染了我，我们之间虽然只有几天的交流，但这美好的回忆与情谊将永存我们的心中。
最后，感谢学校为中外合作提供的平台，感谢每一位为此付出精力的生科院的老师，感谢你们在我们刚刚迈入大学之际就给予我们足够的关怀。
夏令营的结束代表大学之路的起航，在新的时光中，让我们在1037号森林中努力奔跑，向着新的目标前进。
Today is the last day of our summer camp .We were told earlier that we had to make a group presentation in front of everyone, including the leaders of the LifeST and the students from other class. Therefore, everyone attached great importance to the presentation. We practiced it again and again to polish it and to perform the best of us. Everyone pulled their weight and no one complained.
The closing ceremony began at 2pm. I was really nervous before we talked. However ，when we finally got onto the stage，seeing everyone’s brightening face，nothing left. Everyone performed the greatest version of themselves. The fluency ，the confidence，the talkative everyone performed，all reminded me that all our time spent on practicing paid off. We can proudly speak out ：We have really grown！ We excel ourselves！
Every journey has an end. When it came to the farewell time，a thousand words were turned into one sentence：Take care，for all my dear fellows as well as my dear teachers.
