主讲人介绍：

Dong Song（宋东）received his B.S. in biophysics from the University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei, China in 1994 and his Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Southern California (USC), Los Angeles, in 2003.  From 2004 to 2006, he worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Center for Neural Engineering at USC.  He is currently a Research Assistant Professor at the Department of Biomedical Engineering at USC.  His main research interests include nonlinear systems analysis of nervous system, cortical neural prosthesis, electrophysiology of hippocampus, long-term and short-term synaptic plasticity, and the development of modeling methods incorporating both parametric (mechanistic) and non-parametric (input-output) modeling techniques.
