报告内容简介： Cecilia Deng is a senior bioinformatician at The New Zealand Institute for Plant & Food Research Ltd. Her research focus is on using bioinformatic approaches to analyse plant and fungal genomes so as to help enhance the efficiency of cultivar breeding for desired traits. She specializes in a range of areas, such as next-generation sequencing (NGS) experiment design, de novo genome assembly, transcriptome assembly, gene prediction & annotation, comparative genomics, high-throughput genotyping & variants discovery, and differential gene expression profiling.
