踏着晨光走出韵苑,元气满满的一天,便从沿湖的散步开始。南方的鸟儿较北方总多了几分伶俐,轻轻贴着淡绿的湖面疾滑而去,尽显生命的风采。清晨的风拂动着湖边的绿叶,摇曳的倩影温柔诉说着生命的感恩。

上午十点,我们开启了全新的章节,从Michael的生动讲解中,我们走进了斯蒂芬.霍金传奇式的一生。今天是浸润在英语环境中的第四天,我渐渐放开了初来乍到的淡淡羞涩,转而开始与外教老师和班上的同学们进行生动的交谈。陌生的面孔渐渐变得熟悉;陌生的词汇在一个个生动的互动中渐渐清晰;英语的优美,从课本的每一页慢慢荡漾开来。

我始终相信,语言是人类精神文明的结晶,是优美而生动,实用而舒畅的。而相比语言本身,更吸引我的是英语中不同思想与文化的碰撞。此时此刻,我们缅怀先人,不仅是感佩他的成就,更是努力从语言的描绘中在自己的脑海中勾勒属于他的世界,他生命的抗争与创造,都给这处于日新月异时代的我们诸多启示。课堂末,我们和外教对于当下的热议问题进行了互动与交流,我也将语言中世界的包容与开放尽收眼底。

度过慵懒而闲适的中午,我们再次来到教室,齐心协力准备营末的小组演讲。从昨天的头脑风暴到今天的成稿讨论,我们在小组合作中收获了能力与友谊。课后,我选择志愿前往生命小农园进行灯光布置,和辅导员,学班和其他同学一起准备这个有趣的傍晚。从整理灯线到布置小灯,劳动的快乐填满了我的下午。我享受在小农园倾听虫鸟鸣唱的感觉,也愈发希望自己能在日后的学习中认识更多的动植物,就像又交了新的朋友。

走出学一食堂,我们终于迎来了期待的傍晚——栽种一盆属于自己的植物。每个人都选择了自己的植物和花盆,随后聚精会神地听农园师哥的讲解。栽种不是对植物进行简单地转移,而更多需要对土层进行合理的布置与后期的陪护。师哥教给我们要先在花盆中铺上珍珠岩等较大的非营养颗粒,以便根系的疏水。随后带领我们分别用两种方法对自己的植物进行栽种,并对不同的植物教以不同的传授方法。我像同学们一样小心翼翼地捧着自己的植物,按部就班地完成对它的栽种。我们深知手中是一个鲜活的生命,我们的一举一动,也许就慢慢构成了它的整个世界。

充实有趣的一天,便从这对生命的呵护中结束。学在华中大的每一天都总是带给我新的惊喜,而我则在好奇与实践中慢慢成长。明天又是灿烂的一天,期待遇见更多的可能。


Stepping out of the morning light of the garden, full of vitality, from the walk along the lake began. At 10 am., we started a new chapter.From Michael's vivid demonstrations,we stepped into Stephen. Hawking's legendary life. Today is the fourth day immersed in the English environment, I gradually let go of the new light shyness, and instead began to have vivid conversations with the foreign teachers and the students in the class. Strange faces gradually become familiar; strange words gradually become clear in a vivid interaction,With the beauty of English slowly rippling from every page of the textbook.

I have always believed that language is the crystallization of human spiritual civilization, which is both beautiful and vivid,also combining practical and comfortable. Compared with the language itself, what attracts me more is the collision of different ideas and cultures in English. At this moment, we realized that we remember our ancestors not only by feeling his achievements, but also by trying to outline his world in our own mind from the description of the language. The struggle and creation of his life give us many inspiration in this changing era as well.At the end of the class, we interacted and communicated with the foreign teachers about the current hot issues, and I also had a panoramic view of the tolerance and openness of the world in the language.

After the lazy and leisurely noon, we came to the classroom again to work together for the group speech at the end of the camp. From yesterday's brainstorming to today's draft discussion, we have not only gained the ability,but also friendship in the group cooperation. After class, I chose to volunteer to go to the Life Small Farmer Garden for the lighting layout, and to prepare for this interesting evening together with the counselors, school classes and other students. From the light lines to the arrangement of small lights, the joy of labor filled my afternoon. I enjoy the feeling of listening to the insects and birds singing in the small peasant garden, and I increasingly hope that I can know more about plants and animals in my future study, just like making new friends.

Out of the study of a canteen, we finally ushered in the expected evening —— plant a pot of our own plants. Everyone chose his or her own plants and flowerpots, and then listened attentively to the farmer's explanation. Planting is not a simple transfer of plants, but more need for a reasonable layout of the soil layer and later escort.Our senior fellow apprentice taught us to first spread the perlite and other large non-nutrient particles in the pot, so that the root system is hydrophobic. Then he led us to plant our plants in two ways, and taught different plants in different methods. I was just like other students,carefully holding my own plants, step by step to complete my planting. We know that in our hands there is a fresh life, our every move, perhaps slowly constitute its whole world.

A full and interesting day ends from this care of life. Every day studying in HUST always brings me new surprises, motivating me to grow up with curiosity and practice. Tomorrow is another brilliant day, looking forward to meeting more possibilities.

早晨出门,气温不冷也不热,心情不好也不坏。上课了,今天讲的是“the science of spiciness”。虽然“辣”这个词之前经常出现在生活当中,但从未深入研究其中蕴含的科学秘密。这堂课,我们先学习了描述味道的词汇,其中不乏很多高级词汇,以及不少化学专业术语,这对我们专业课的学习也是有帮助的。接下来我们进入看视频环节,学习到了很多新知识,比如说辣椒辣舌头是因为辣椒素刺激舌头上的受体,从而让人类感受灼烧感,而芥末呛鼻子是因为小分子飘到了鼻腔里。最后我们还交流了关于吃辣的看法,大家各抒己见,四川的同学才发现原来自己觉得清淡的食物,别人却会觉得很辣。这堂课还纠正了大家的一个常识性错误,就是吃辣本领不会越练越厉害,而是由基因和遗传决定的。所以,吃辣厉害的人只是在心理上更能忍受舌头的灼烧感,而不是所谓的“更厉害”。

下午两点钟,同学们准时到达了东九A102教室,怀着满满期待开始了下午的课程。在Albert的带领下,我们暂时结束了“THE SCIENCE OF SPICINESS”的讨论,走进了下一个主题——“STARS”。首先开始的“Warm up”部分Albert首先带领我们认识了几个星座,并且提到了中国生肖的概念。这两者之间有异曲同工之妙,激发了同学们讨论的欲望。紧接着我们深入讨论,聊到了宇宙中行星的诞生,分享了自己对探索宇宙的看法。同学们各抒己见,课堂内容好不充实。结束了话题的讨论,我们开始了抽取积木塔的游戏——抽取一块积木,完成积木上面的要求并把积木放在最顶上。几位积极的同学参与了游戏,有的同学抽到了“偷偷告诉一位异性自己理想中异性的外貌”,还有的同学抽到了“邀请一位异性跳一支舞”……随着课程的结束,我们也不得不依依不舍地结束了游戏。游戏不仅带来了欢乐,更让我们班级更为团结,相互了解。在Albert布置完今日份的练习后,今天的学习任务也算结束了。

晚饭后,披着一身夜色,来到了咱的生命小农园。自马路上下望,恰似倒映在地上的小片星海。步入小农园,漫步于线灯照映着的石板路,嗅着泥土踏实的气味,我们也都有了轻松和亲近自然的感觉。所有人在选取多肉植物、迷迭香等盆栽后,听取了老师对此次务农工作的讲解。根据老师的指导,进行了填土,换盆,浇水的系列工作,即在培养自己的小盆栽前的移植工作。有的同学在开始的土用完后进行了营养土的混合搅拌工作,就像和了个面,也有所谓的手法可言。也有同学在附近的工具间里和华科的小动物——黄鼠狼碰了个照面。在此次农作活动之后,我们收获了自己要养的小盆栽,亲生体验了农学,也许和生物科学之美更近了一步。但愿这能激起各位日后学习生科的兴趣。

In this class, we first learned the words describing taste, including many high-level words and a lot of chemical terms, which is also helpful for our professional courses. Next, it was time for the video link, and we learned a lot of new knowledge. For example, capsaicin stimulates the receptors on the tongue, which makes people feel burning, while mustard chokes the nose because small molecules float into the nasal cavity. Finally, we also exchanged views on eating spicy food, and everyone expressed their own opinions. It was only when students in Sichuan found that the food they thought was tasteless, others would think it was very spicy. This class also corrected a common sense mistake of everyone, that is, the ability to eating spicy food will not become stronger with practice, but is determined by genes and heredity. Therefore, people who can eat spicy food are only psychologically more tolerant of the burning sensation of the tongue, rather than the so-called "more competent".

At 2:00 pm., the students arrived at classroom YiFu building on time and began the afternoon course with full expectation. Under the leadership of Albert, we temporarily ended the discussion of "the science of spice" and entered the next topic - "stars". At the beginning of the "warm up" part, Albert first led us to understand several constellations and mentioned the concept of Chinese zodiac. There are both similarities and differences between the two conceptions, which stimulated the students' desire to discuss. Then we had an in-depth discussion. We talked about the birth of planets in the universe and shared our views on exploring the universe. The students expressed their opinions, and the contents of the class were did enriched. After the discussion of the topic, we started the game of extracting a building block tower - extracting a building block, completing the requirements above the block and putting the building block you had picked already on the top. Several active students took part in the game. Some students got the challenge to "secretly tell a heterosexual about their ideal appearance of the opposite sex", while others got the challenge to "invite a heterosexual to dance"... With the end of the course, we had to end the game reluctantly. The game not only brings joy, but also makes our class more united and understand each other. After Albert assigned today's exercise,today’s study assignments had finished.

After dinner, we came to our little farm of Life. Looking down from the road, it looks like a small sea of stars reflected on the ground. Entering into the farm, walking along the flagstone road illuminated by the line lamp, and smelling the smell of the earth, we all felt relaxed and close to nature. After selecting potted plants such as succulent plants and rosemary, all the students listened to the teacher's explanation on this agricultural work. According to the guidance of the teacher, we carried out a series of work of filling, changing pots and watering, that is, transplanting before cultivating our own small potted plants. Some students mixed the nutrient soil after the initial soil was used up,the feeling of doing it just like mixing a face. There are also so-called techniques. Some students also met the weasel, a small animal , in the tool room nearby. After this agricultural activity, we harvested the small potted plants we would raise by ourselves, and experienced agronomy in person, and the beauty of the Bioscience was further improved. I hope this will stimulate our interest in studying biology in the future.

早七点,一如既往的醒来,没有任何的意外,也没有任何意外的开始赖床,晨铃响了一遍又一遍,关了一回又一回,终于,八点五十,美好的一天开始了!谨记学班和宿管阿姨的教诲,关上空调,关灯,关门,确认带齐了物品,等冲刺到食堂,人已所剩无几,密如细雨地吸完粥饭便开始新一轮的晨跑训练,目标,东九。跑到一半发现同班骑着电动飞驰而过,不由得加快了脚步,九点五十一,不早不晚,刚刚好,美好的一天正式开始。今日Sachini老师突发奇想的换了我们的座位,每个大组呈C字排列,方便组内交流。讲的是slice of pi,但Sachini说不懂就问是好习惯,let's ask more!

下午是霍金的专场,半场,大抵了解了如何由英语来叙述这位伟人的一生,what a nice class!后半节课喜闻乐见的GAME,因为提前完成了课程,熟悉的英文版你来描述我来猜,不得不承认,贫瘠的词汇量与不怎么fluent的口语造成了极大的困扰,Sachini希望通过这种方式锻炼我们的口头表达能力,这确实有点困难,多练吧。

晚上是轻松愉快的小农园活动,我们的学班黄焘带领我们过去,并全程参与了活动。本来以为就是去看看,没想到是自己动手实践,领养植物。不得不说生活总是充满惊喜与意外。每一个人包括学班大人都领养了一盆植物,围在一张大桌子四周听专家讲解如何给植物换盆。我们所有人都听得很入迷,这就是户外实践不同于教室听讲的魅力吧。先往新花盆中装入一层陶粒,以保证花盆的排水。接着再往盆中装土,这种土很特别,很细很软,装一层薄薄的土后试着放入旧盆来确保底部的土垫都足够高,换盆厚植物不会躺在新盆里。控制好了垫土的高度后把旧盆置于新盆中,盆壁相贴,没有贴合的部分装入土将其填满,接着取出旧盆,将植物连着土一起从旧盆中倒出,刚倒出的土还能保持在花盆里的形状,但是如果植物的根系不够发达,倒出的土很快就会分崩离析,因此我们要尽快将倒出的土块放入刚刚形成的坑中,再加上适量的土,浇水,换盆就算完成了!完成换盆后的我们拿出手机,打开微信扫一扫识物功能或者百度扫一扫识万物功能,了解到了自己手中的植物是什么。随后我们就满载而归地返回了寝室,解锁了新成就—获得一株新植物,获得了一项新作业—把我们的植物养活。充实的一天就在回寝室后的写日志中结束了。

期待今后的大学生活。

The afternoon is Hawking's special session, emm, half time, basically understand how to describe this great man's life in English, what a nice class! Happy GAME, because textbook’s content was finished ahead of course, familiar in English to you describe and let me guess, you have to admit, poor vocabulary and not very fluent spoken English caused great distress, Sachini hope that through this way to exercise our oral communication ability, It is really a bit difficult, especially for the few unknown words. Practice more.

In The Evenings, We Have a Pleasant LITTLE FARM ACTIVITY. Our class master Huang Tao led us there and participated in the whole activity. I thought I was just going to look, but I didn't think I was going to do it myself, adopt plants. I have to say life is full of surprises. Everyone, including the lord student-head teacher adopted a plant and we gathered around a large table to hear experts explain how to replace it. All of us listened ecstatically, which is the charm of outdoor practice as opposed to classroom listening. Put a layer of clay into the new pot first to ensure that the pot drains well. Then you fill the pot with soil, it's a very special kind of soil, it's very thin and soft, and then you fill it with a thin layer of soil and try to put it in the old pot to make sure that the soil at the bottom is high enough so that the plants don't end up in the new pot.
