2024 年巴黎萨克雷大学研学夏令营日志——7.5

今天是法国研学的第五天。清晨的微风轻抚着脸颊,带来一丝丝凉爽,令人心旷神怡。上午的主要内容在实验室中是对我们昨天所取的水样进行分析。这是我们第一次进入埃夫里大学的实验室,实验室内部宽敞明亮洁净,里面的设施完备且丰富,充满了浓厚的学术气息。

每个小组内部分工合作,分别从显微观察、理化性质、微生物学和细胞生物学角度对取到的水样进行分析。我的主要工作是在显微镜下观察水样中的微生物。我们在显微镜视野中看到的大部分是垃圾碎片和气泡,要找到通体绿色的微生物简直难如登天。功夫不负有心人,在老师的指导下,我终于找到了符合要求的微生物,并且观察到它在视野中的游动和旋转。我们体会到了微观世界的丰富和乐趣。

理化性质分析实验的过程中,我们要先对样品进行过滤,过滤用的过滤器是双孔的,我们要堵住一个孔才能操作。过滤完成后,滤渣经过烘干之后称量质量,滤液用于成分分析,分析其中的硝酸根、亚硝酸根、磷酸根的含量和液体的硬度。

下午实验结束后,我们去参观埃夫里大学的教堂。阳光透过教堂的彩色玻璃窗洒落进来,斑驳的光影映照在教堂内部的每一个角落。空气中弥漫着淡淡的香烛气息,使得教堂又增添了一份祥和宁静。

晚上,我们再次来到巴黎的塞纳河畔,乘上游艇,沿着塞纳河游览巴黎城区的风景。伴随着音响里播放着的法国的流行歌曲,一部分同学与法国嘉宾们合影留念,另一部分则登上二层甲板,欣赏沿河的建筑和风景。

虽然已经接近晚上8点,阳光仍然明艳,河水在阳光下闪烁着微光,周围的建筑和桥梁投下斑驳的影子。当船只缓缓驶过这条历史悠久的河流时,我们看到了巴黎市中心许多著名的地标建筑,如埃菲尔铁塔、巴黎圣母院、卢浮宫等,它们在河畔展现出完全不同的视角。太阳落山后,进入夜晚,河面上灯光璀璨,反射出不同的色彩,城市的夜生活在河畔继续着,流光溢彩。无论是白天还是夜晚,塞纳河的船游览都是感受巴黎魅力的绝佳方式,让人仿佛置身于浪漫与历史交织的画卷中。


Today, we came to the fifth day of our study trip in France. The gentle morning breeze brushed against our faces, bringing a refreshing coolness and invigorating our spirits. Our main lab activity involved analyzing the water samples we collected yesterday morning. It was our first time entering the laboratory at Évry University, a spacious, bright, and immaculate space filled with advanced equipment that exude a strong academic atmosphere.

Each group member performed analyses of the water samples from varied aspects: microscopy, physicochemical properties, microbiology, and cellular biology. My task was to observe the microorganisms in the water samples under the microscope. With the field of view filled with debris and bubbles, finding the elusive green microorganism was like searching for a needle in a haystack. However, persistence paid off as I finally identified target microorganisms with the teacher's guidance. I observed their movements and rotations and experienced the richness and joy of the microscopic world.

For the physicochemical study, the first filtration was applied using a double-pore filter, so we needed to block one of the pores to proceed. After filtration, the residue underwent drying and weighing for mass determination, while the filtrate was used for component analysis. The nitrate, nitrite, and phosphate ions levels were measured, and water hardness was assessed.

In the afternoon, we visited the Évry University Chapel. Sunlight scattered through the stained glass windows, casting dappled shadows in every corner of the chapel. A faint aroma of candles permeated the air, adding to the tranquil atmosphere.

The evening brought the flyboat party, a highlight of our day. Returning to the Seine River in Paris, we embarked on a yacht to cruise along the river, admiring the cityscape. French pop music played from the stereo. Some of us took photos with French guests, while others ascended to the upper deck to appreciate the riverside buildings and scenery.

Despite approaching 8 PM, sunlight continued to illuminate the river, casting shimmering reflections as our boat glided along this historic waterway. We passed by many eminent landmarks in central Paris—such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Louvre—each presenting a unique perspective from the riverside. As the sun set and night fell, the river sparkled with colorful lights, continuing the city's vibrant nightlife. Whether day or night, cruising the Seine River proved to be an excellent way to experience the charm of Paris—a blend of romance and history, like stepping into a living canvas.
